Review of Hairy Goat London Photography Mystery Tour
My Hairy Goat London Photography Mystery Tour Review.
This is an update to this post.
Last Friday I was lucky enough to go on one of the Hairy Goat London Photography Mystery Tours, so as promised here is my review.
We met at 11am at Tower Hill station (although this changes to Bank tube station in April), because of recent cold weather there was only a few of us on the tour, but for me it was ideal as it meant we got to spend more time speaking to our guide Corinna and weather wise it was a fantastic day with pure blue skies and not a cloud in sight. We walked and talked for over 3 hours and I managed to use up all of my memory card memory!
I promised Corinna I would not tell my readers which route she took us on as each and every tour is a mystery, but lets say that I discovered a few places that I had never heard of and learnt a lot about parts of East London I never knew about. Corinna’s enthusiasm for London history and it’s development really makes the tour an enjoyable experience and at the price she charges, it is really good value for money.
I would definitely recommend it to others (although stock up on more more memory cards just in case!).
Oh and by the way, I found out why she called her tour company HairyGoat.net.
In Australia, they have a saying ‘running around like a hairy goat’ for when you are really busy and trying to do multiple things at once. In the UK we have a similar saying but usually our hairy goat is a ‘headless chicken’ or we are ‘buzzing around like a blue arsed fly’!
