Mothering Sunday is a time when children pay respect to their Mothers. It is always on the middle Sunday of lent and hence the exact date it lands varies from year to year.

What’s the difference between Mothering Sunday and Mother’s day?

Absolutely nothing. We just tend to call it Mothering Sunday in the UK, also it is celebrated on different dates in other countries.

When is Mother’s day?

In the UK, Mother’s Day is Sunday 14th March 2010, if you have missed it already then Mother’s Day in 2011 will be on the Sunday 3rd April 2011.
